Cookies and local storage are different
A cookie is a small value that a browser may send with requests to the relevant website. Local storage is browser-held data that a site script can read on that origin. Both can remember choices, but this implementation uses local storage only after you press the save button. It does not send that saved value to a server.

What is not stored by these tools
The mileage calculator does not save its inputs. The correspondence panel does not save your draft in local storage or submit it to the website. A downloaded message is a separate file, and a copied message is placed on your clipboard at your request. Browser autofill, clipboard history and device backup settings may retain information independently of this site.
The page code includes no external fonts, embedded video, advertising tags or third-party image requests. Following an external source link opens a separate service whose cookies and privacy practices are governed by that service.
Clearing or blocking storage
Use “Remove saved preference” to delete the entry managed by this script. You can also clear this domain’s site data in your browser settings. Browser controls vary; private browsing may discard data when the session ends. Blocking storage does not prevent the articles or local calculations from working.
